Coach Scott Blade is in his 6th year as the Head Coach for Independence High School.  Scott was the Tennessee Titans Football Coach of the Year in 2015 where the Eagles went 15-0 and were crowned the 5A State Champions.  The Eagles were the 5A State Runner-Ups in 2016 after winning 29 in a row.  Scott is also the Athletic Director of IHS and a PE teacher.
