Nolensville 3  Franklin 2 (23-25, 25-13, 25-21, 19-25, 15-11)

Nolensville held off upstart Franklin in 5 sets on Tuesday.  The visiting Admirals took an early led by winning the opening set 25-23.  The 3-time defending state champion Knights responded with 25-13 and 25-21 wins in sets 2 and 3.  However, the scrappy Admirals forced a deciding 5th set with a 25-19 edge in the fourth.  Nolensville closed out the final set 15-11 in front of a raucous home crowd.
