Patrick Whitlock serves as the Director of Athletics for Williamson County Schools, where he oversees athletic programming across one of Tennessee’s most competitive and high-achieving school districts. With a career rooted in coaching, leadership, and student development, Whitlock brings a dynamic blend of experience and vision to the role.
Prior to his district appointment, Whitlock spent nearly two decades at Ravenwood High School, where he became the winningest boys’ basketball coach in school history with 314 career victories. He also served as Ravenwood’s athletic director from 2008 to 2015, helping guide the school’s athletic programs to new levels of success and community engagement.
Whitlock’s background includes collegiate coaching roles at Pepperdine University and Vanderbilt University, where he contributed to player development and program operations.
As Director of Athletics, Whitlock is committed to supporting student-athletes across all sports, promoting safety and sportsmanship, and ensuring that athletics remain a vital part of the educational experience in Williamson County.
