This rematch has been circled since last October for the Spring Hill girls and for the first time, the Summit High School soccer team defeated Franklin. 

Gracie Dooley scored in the 29th minute, Summer Riley tacked on a late goal and the Spartans avenged last year's season-ending loss with a 2-0 District 10-AAA breakthrough victory at Franklin on Tuesday. 

"This is amazing," the junior striker Riley said. "After our last game last year and to be able to come out here and just show how hard we've worked, it shows we can have a really good winning program, too."
